I hate myself
My parents always told me hate was a strong word, but I began to realize I said it so often that its meaning was becoming weak. It was no longer a strong word, it was a member of the words stored in the front of my brain, ready for its everyday use.
If you hear an opinion enough times, it becomes a fact. When you begin to say any word enough times, it begins to sound like nonsense. It loses its meaning and purpose in our minds. It is another sound. It becomes white noise. But you are not white noise. You are powerful and you have purpose. You are not said enough times because you are worth more than the words I say more than once everyday. You are the rare word that is so special that I save it until the perfect moment.
Every time you feel the words begin to roll off your tongue, form at the tip of your lips as you stare at yourself in the mirror, catch the letters in the palms of your hands before they have the chance to form words and begin to make sense in your mind. I don’t want you to be full of passionate dislike. I want you to be full of passion for life.
